EEG – home brain wave scanning.

I have been obsessed with the Emotiv and Neurosky EEG brain scanners, as this will allow me to monitor my brain patterns (Delta / Alpha etc) while I work etc.

This has made it onto my Xmas wish list, and I think in the new year, I am going to finally succumb to getting myself one of the developer kits!

As those who know me, I am obsessed about performance (measured against work), and the interplay between energy, attention levels as well as the emotional state at the time.

The other option I have is to put together one of the build it yourself projects as outlined in the Open EEG project

This allows component list download, as well as Printed Circuit board diagrams which might be a heck of a lot more exciting to build, though a lot more risky in that my electrical play stopped quite a few years ago and I might fail at the build, though I did notice that the guy who built it had all his prices listing delivery to Auckland NZ.
